The Baoni State is a Muslim Princely State situated in the Betwa-Yamuna doab, Uttar Pradesh, with Kadaura as its seat of government. The Baoni Royal Family are descendants of the Asaf Jahi ruling family of Hyderabad. The House of Baoni further traces back its root to Abu Bakr Al-Siddeeq (May Allah be pleased with him), the First Islamic Caliph.
